Subtitle: Establishing a user-friendly digital presence and cohesive brand identity for a healthcare practice
Brief Summary:
I had the privilege of designing the logo, website, and educational materials for FoxFern ADHD Clinic. My role was instrumental in creating a strong brand presence that resonated with their values while developing a user-friendly platform that catered to accessibility and the clinic’s educational goals.

Challenges and Objectives

Challenge:
FoxFern ADHD Clinic needed to establish a cohesive brand identity and an accessible, user-friendly website to effectively communicate its mission and provide valuable resources to patients and educators.

Objective:
To create a brand identity that reflects FoxFern ADHD Clinic’s focus on growth, empathy, and ADHD treatment, while building a website and educational tools that enhance usability, accessibility, and engagement across their target audience.

My Role and Responsibilities

  • Branding: Developed the clinic’s logo to symbolize focus, growth, and empathy, aligning with FoxFern’s mission and values.
  • Website Design: Led the design of the clinic’s website, ensuring optimal functionality, user-friendly navigation, and responsive design across devices.
  • Educational Materials: Designed infographics and user-friendly forms, ensuring clarity and ease of use while adhering to the clinic’s branding and educational needs.
  • Collaboration: Worked closely with the clinic’s team to align design decisions with their vision, gathering feedback to refine both the logo and website.

Process and Execution

Discovery and Research:
To kick off the project, I engaged in an in-depth exploration of the clinic’s core values and target audience, which provided the foundation for the logo design. I also conducted research on healthcare web design best practices, especially focusing on accessibility and usability requirements for ADHD patients.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
Throughout the project, I maintained close communication with the FoxFern team, gathering insights and aligning design decisions with their vision. Regular meetings allowed for iterative feedback that was crucial to refining the designs.

Concept Development:

  • Logo Design: Developed multiple logo concepts based on the clinic’s mission, each incorporating elements symbolizing focus, growth, and empathy.
  • Website Design: Created wireframes to map out user journeys, ensuring a seamless navigation experience. Developed high-fidelity mockups that translated the brand’s identity into a digital platform.

Design Execution:

  • Branding: Finalized a logo that resonated with the clinic’s identity after multiple rounds of refinement and feedback.
  • Website: Designed the website with a focus on responsive design principles to ensure optimal performance on all devices. Accessibility and ease of use were top priorities, especially given the healthcare context.
  • Educational Tools: Created infographics that communicated complex ADHD-related information in a clear and engaging manner. Designed user-friendly forms that aligned with the clinic’s branding and improved patient interaction.

Refinement and Accessibility:
Throughout the process, I emphasized accessibility standards, ensuring that the website and educational materials were easily usable for a diverse audience, particularly those impacted by ADHD.
