Creative lead and art director for BambooHR's annual User Conference across two consecutive years. Full scope: brand identity, website, 60-foot custom stage, interactive 3D booth, and complete print and environmental collateral. Generated 1.6M impressions and reached 711K+ unique social accounts.

Project overview

BambooHR's User Conference is the company's flagship customer event — a moment to deepen relationships, showcase product, and reinforce the brand. Creative ownership was end-to-end: from initial visual identity through every physical and digital touchpoint across two consecutive years.

Challenge

Building a comprehensive conference brand that scaled across digital and physical spaces — website, social, stage design, environmental branding, and print — while feeling cohesive, inclusive, and distinctly BambooHR rather than a generic corporate tech event.

Delivering across that many simultaneous touchpoints required close coordination across events, marketing, and product teams, with a single creative voice holding it all together.

Process

  • Developed the conference visual identity from scratch: logo, color palette, illustration style, and typography system — a cohesive language adaptable across all formats.
  • Led a complete redesign of the event website, focused on intuitive user experience and driving conference registrations.
  • Designed the 60-foot main stage, an interactive 3D attendee booth, and all large-scale venue environmental branding.
  • Created the full print suite: agenda booklets, partner brochures, name badges, lanyards, pins, meter boards, and directional signage.
  • Served as primary creative liaison across events, marketing, and product teams — conducting stakeholder interviews, running concept reviews, and managing feedback throughout production.

Results

  • 1.6 million impressions generated through integrated event marketing.
  • 711,000+ unique accounts reached across Instagram and Twitter.
  • 500+ organic tagged posts from attendees.
  • Year-over-year growth in conference attendance across both years.
